Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0742133A1] The braking progress is determined from deceleration and reaction times. An actual mean reaction time is determined continuously from a number of statistically evaluated reaction times on the same brake. These reaction times are computed, while taking into account the latest set brake force, from measurements of the times between brake application and the moment when the braking deceleration is approximately zero.
