[origin: EP0742322A1] Boundary walls of a room, such as a sound studio, have sound absorbers mounted on them to absorb low and high frequencies. A first absorber member, for low frequencies, comprises a plate absorber (3) held at a distance from the wall (6) by a spacer (2) and a second absorber, absorbing high frequencies, comprises a porous absorber (4) positioned on the plate absorber.
