[origin: EP0742543A1] The plate (18) is for an emblem label (10) secured to a gas-bag cover holding car passengers in the event of a collision etc. A support (14) has a portion (16) on one side for fixing to the cover, while the label is on the other side. The label surface area is greater than that of the support, its protruding edge being bent round behind that of the support. One or more lugs can be provided along the label edge, one at least of them contg. a hole through which the fixing portion passes. Alternatively there can be drillings in the lugs or label edge and in which pins on the rear side of the support engage. There can be recesses in the rear surface of the support, and in which the lugs engage.
