Abstract (en)
The connection block includes a contact-carrying module (16) which is designed for installation alongside others between the longitudinal walls (18) of a rectangular frame (14). It comprises a connection box (20) and a plate (22) which retains each contact firmly between a shoulder of a passage through the plate and a stud of a resilient tongue whose deformation is prevented by the box when the plate is fully inserted. The plate is immobilised in a defined position by elastic arms (24) on the outside of the box which are clipped over the walls of the frame, and by elastic tabs (26) on the inside which engage longitudinal internal shoulders on it.

Bloc de connexion électrique modulaire enfichable comprenant une platine porte-modules (14) constituée par un cadre rectangulaire ayant deux longerons parallèles délimitant un couloir, et des modules porte-contacts (16) insérables côte-à-côte dans le couloir. Chaque module a un boîtier de connexion (20) accouplable avec un boîtier d'un bloc complémentaire et une plaque de retenue (22) de contacts électriques. Chaque boîtier est muni de moyens de butée limitant son déplacement vers l'avant par rapport à la platine et de moyens de verrouillage élastiques s'opposant à son recul depuis une position avancée, et chaque plaque est munie de moyens d'accrochage destinés à I'immobiliser dans une position déterminée par rapport au boîtier respectif. Un tel bloc de connexion est notamment utilisable dans le domaine automobile. <IMAGE>
