Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0743273A1] The stop device acts on a lift cabin (1) standing at a certain storey (4). The cabin has at least one door panel (2) and door threshold (3). The stop device (5) is fitted to the threshold. It prevents upward or downward drift. With the door closed, an operating arm with an operating cam projects into the path of the cabin door panel. When the door is opened, the cabin door panel acts via the operating arm and cam to turn the load arms to the working position, in which the cabin is secured against upward or downward drift.
