(A) 5-95 wt.% dicarboxylic ester(s) of the formula R1-OOC-R-COO-R2 (R1, R2 = 1-15 C alkyl, 5-7 C cycloalkyl or aryl; R = a divalent bridging gp.), (B) 95-5 wt.% washing-active surfactant(s) (II) and (C) opt. water and/or other additives is claimed. Also claimed are (a) aq. washing liquors contg. 0.5-5.0 wt.% of this compsn., in addn. to usual washing ancillaries; (b) a method of producing the compsn.; and (c) a process for washing textile substrates.
