Abstract (en)
The French window (2) has two panes (3,4) one of which (3) is equipped with an espagnolette bolt (5). This bolt comprises an operating rod (9), which extends the length of the upright (8), engages at one of its ends (10) in a latch (11) located in a rabbet on the upper (12) or lower (13) cross member of the window frame (14). A strip (15) mounted in a rabbet of the upper or lower cross member of the first pane has two openings (21,22) able to receive the operating rod end. One of these openings (21) is located in line with the latch when the two leaves are closed, allowing passage and engagement of the rod end in the latch.

L'invention a trait à un dispositif d'entrebâillement pour fenêtre, porte-fenêtre ou analogue à deux battants (3, 4) comprenant au moins une tringle de manoeuvre (9 ; 9A) dont une extrémité (10 ; 10A) est apte à coopérer avec une gâche (11 ; 11A) disposée en feuillure sur la traverse supérieure (12) ou inférieure (13) du cadre dormant (14). Ce dispositif d'entrebâillement est caractérisé en ce qu'il est constitué par au moins une lame montée en feuillure du second battant (4) et comportant une partie s'étendant au-dessus du premier battant (3) et présentant au moins deux ouvertures susceptibles d'accueillir l'extrémité (10 ; 10A) de la tringle de manoeuvre (9 ; 9A), l'une de ces ouvertures venant se situer au droit de la gâche (11 ; 11A) lorsque les deux battants (3, 4) sont refermés. <IMAGE>
