Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0743420A2] The roller shutter (3) is fitted onto a support shaft (2) inside a housing (1) above the outside of the window. A ventilation grille (7) between the housing and the enclosed space (6) between the shutter and the window provides a cooling effect in hot weather. Similar grilles (8,9) in the housing connect to the outside. The ventilation grilles are operated by sliders driven by a common linkage for a simple one control operation.
