Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0743490A1] The chamber has at least one axial wall (2,3) which is pierced by a series of openings (14) allowing passage of a coolant fluid flow (A). A further series of diluting holes (12) are arranged in a plane transverse to the flow of combustion gases in the chamber (D). The chamber wall is divided into a series of zones (16a,21), within each of which the coolant openings are formed at an angle (A) to the longitudinal axis of the wall greater than 30 deg. The openings in some wall zones are inclined acutely relative to the combustion gas flow, and those in other zones are inclined obtusely relative to the flow.
