Abstract (en)
The thermostat (1) includes a plastic base (2) which supports a control mechanism of the power supply circuit of an immersion heater. A metal probe (3) attached to the base, presents a tube (3a) and a metal tub (3b) with two lateral clips (3c,d) engaging corresponding slots in the base. The tube houses a metal rod (4) which co-operates with an adjusting component (5). When the temperature inside the cylinder in which the probe is inserted varies the rod actuates a switch (6) which controls the power supply of the heater.

La sonde (3) comporte à son extrémité libre et entre le tube (3a) et la tige (4) un dispositif de sécurité (7) constitué d'un ressort (7a) réalisé en alliage à mémoire de forme qui agit par l'intermédiaire d'une entretoise (7c) sur un coulisseau (8) dont le déplacement provoque l'ouverture des rupteurs électriques (10 et 11) lors d'une élévation de température dépassant celle du seuil thermique minimal du ressort (7a). <IMAGE>
