[origin: US6176236B1] For oxygen enrichment of the blood during sleep the invention proposes that oxygen-enriched air be fed into the space between the cover and the top side of the mattress of a bed. This is done in part through the interior of the mattress with an air-permeable cover layer, in part through a soft interposed mat laid over the sleeper.
