[origin: EP0744137A2] The assembly, e.g. for a cosmetic prod., consists of a cavity (202) with a base (204) and side wall (205), designed to receive a holder (206) of the prod. (P). The inner surface of the side wall (205) has a supple shock-resistant element to retain the prod. holder in the cavity while allowing it to be removed and replaced when required. The supple element (E) is of a thermoplastic or vulcanised elastomer material with a hardness of between 15 Shore A and 25 Shore D, and is selected from silicone, natural or synthetic rubber, polyethylene, polypropylene, polyester, polyurethane, polystyrene and polyether bloc amide elastomers. The packaging can also incorporate a compressible element to take up play and damp vibrations between the holder and cavity.
