[origin: EP0744169A2] The spray mat has a plate (1) which is made from a soft material with several holes (1a) in it of various geometries. At the foot end, there is a location (1b) for the central distributor switch (4). A head cushion (5) has a hoop (6a) on the back of it for the users hand. The outlet units (2) are pressed into the holes in the plate and have a sucker underneath them. In the outlet units is a flexible fleece-like material insert. The spray characteristics are determined by the compressed air passing through the fleece. Due to their elasticity, the fibres of the fleece are tightly packed when low pressure is being used but with high pressure they become loose. With low air pressure therefore, a fine spray is produced but with high pressure, a coarse massage spray is produced.
