[origin: US5771793A] A calender for treating a web of material includes at least two rollers forming a roller nip therebetween. A take-up device is disposed downstream from the at least two rollers. At least one longitudinal cutter is disposed between the at least two rollers and the take-up device. The at least one longitudinal cutter divides the web of material into at least two partial webs. The take-up device has at least two winding stations. Each of the winding stations corresponds to one of the partial webs.
