Abstract (en)
The beam, e.g. for constructing floors, consists of a central section (A) and two end sections (B) which are of lower height than the central section and have a length of between some tens of cm and 1/3 of the beam's length. The end sections (B) have projecting steel reinforcing elements (4), forming a beam which have a greater resistance to flexure in its central section and a greater resistance to shearing forces in its end sections. The height of the projecting reinforcing elements is not greater than the height of the beam's central section, and the two end sections are formed by packing the mould with a powdered material, polystyrene blocks or cardboard. The blocks can also be, for example, of neoprene or polypropylene.

Poutrelle en béton précontraint caractérisée en ce qu'elle comporte : une partie centrale (A) de hauteur e2 et deux parties d'extrémités (B) de hauteur e1, inférieure à e2 et de longueur comprise entre quelques dizaines de centimètres et environ 1/3 de la longueur de la poutrelle, lesdites parties d'extrémités (B) étant munies d'aciers en saillie (4) de telle sorte que la poutrelle est plus résistante en flexion dans sa partie centrale (A) et plus résistante aux efforts tranchants dans ses deux parties d'extrémités (B). <IMAGE>
