[origin: EP0744524A2] The control device (14) is coupled to a switching device (S1,S2), for rotation of the electric drive motor (10) for the shutter (11) in either direction, for raising or lowering the shutter respectively, with a memory storing each end position of the roller shutter for automatic cut-out of the drive motor. The memory holds at least one further intermediate roller shutter position, selected by a defined operating sequence or continuous operation of the switching device and identified by the electronic control device for automatic cut-out of the motor upon reaching the intermediate position.
