Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0744535A1] The engine has a cylinder head cover (2) which has guide ribs (9-15) bounding labyrinth passages (17-22) orientated to the oil separator plate. Holes are formed in the plate and are located opposite the passages in the spray oil deficient areas, with at least one collector channel located between them. The holes are located in a high set section of the plate of the engine set in an inclined plane, and oil drain holes (16) are provided in an opposite lower lying section in one wall (R2) of the cylinder head cover.
