Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0744538A2] The cooling circuit has an electrically-controlled setting element (3) for determining the temp of the cooling medium circulated through the engine and a preceding electronic regulator (4). The setting element is pref. provided by a thermostat valve, the electronic regulator comparing the actual cooling medium temp with a required temp dependent on the momentary regulation parameters, to provide a setting signal for the setting element, e.g. a pulse width modulated setting signal.
