Abstract (en)
[origin: WO9618784A1] A collapsible box truss (10) having two truss webs (12) pivoted together by pivot members (30) at the ends of cross-members (14) so that the truss (10) can be pivoted between a collapsed position for ease of storage and transport, and an expanded position for use in carrying a load such as light and sound equipment. The truss (10) also has flooring members (16) and defines a "crawl space" for allowing movement along the truss when in the expanded position. The truss (10) can be set on its end to form a collapsible tower.
