Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0745341A1] The support comprises a stand pipe (1) with a pneumatically or hydro-pneumatically adjustable element positioned concentrically inside it. The housing (4) of this element is radially supported by the pipe and guided along in the direction of its axis (3). The element's piston rod (7) is attached to its free end, at the bottom (9) of the stand pipe. The bottom of the pipe is rolled over to form an inwards facing flange (20) with an extended groove which forms a ring ridge (19). The bottom of the piston rod is attached to the flanged base of the pipe.
