A support for a pane of glass, or similar, is built into a hollow frame (12) and has legs (13) on the bottom, spaced apart down the length, with a projection (16) from the support surface that is parallel to the pane. The free end of the projection locks positively with the frame at right angles to the pane. There is a leg (19) along one edge at the bottom for clamping the support to the frame. The clamping leg runs between the two support legs. The clamp is braced by a water drainage groove (20) of the frame and is inclined to the frame mounting surface (21). It also has an inclined end face.

Abstützelement einer Glasscheibe (11) od.dgl., die in einem aus Hohlprofilen (12) aufgebauten Rahmen eingebaut ist, mit rahmenauflageseitig angeordneten, längs durchlaufenden und beabstandeten Bodenstegen (13), mit einem an einer Längskante (14) vorhandenen, von einer Abstützfläche scheibenparallel vorstehenden Haltevorsprung (16), dessen freies Ende rahmenseitig senkrecht zur Scheibenebene (17) formschlüssig angreift. Um ein Abstützelement mit den eingangs genannten Merkmalen dahingehend zu verbessern, daß es bei im wesentlichen im Bereich einer der Längskanten (14,14') erfolgender Festlegung hinreichend stabil befestigt ist, also derart, daß die konstruktiv vorbestimmte Einbaustellung des Abstützelements am Hohlprofil (12) auch bei im wesentlichen nur im Bereich an einer einzigen Längskante (14) erfolgenden Befestigung gewährleistet ist, wird es so ausgebildet, daß das Abstützelement rahmenauflageseitig mit einem an einer Bodenlängskante (18) verrastenden Klemmteil (19) versehen ist. <IMAGE>
