Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0746992A1] The applicator (20) is attached to the cap (6) of a bottle with a reservoir (4) and a threaded neck (8). The threaded neck has its upper end (13) shaped so that any surplus product flows back into the reservoir when the applicator is scraped against it. The upper end of the bottle neck has at least one sharp edge not more than 2 mm in width, and its inner surface can have a recess. The sharp edge, which can have flat or rounded shoulders, can be situated at the inside, outside or middle of the upper end of the bottle's neck.
