Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0747031A2] The wing-type protrusions (1a) at the head end of the mat accommodate the shoulders, and are followed in the direction of the feet by narrowed portions (1b). The two middle quartets of the mat extend for the maximum width of the mat. The foot end tapers in an S-shape (1c) roughly to the mat width at the narrowed portion. The plates (2) forming the bubbles are interchangeable, and are arranged in groups at the points where rheumatism is liable to occur. They are also arranged along curves corresponding roughly to the muscle length.
