The stand has a length-adjustable support of two telescopic bars (2,4), and a carrier (10) for a drill (30), which is axially moveable on one bar towards the drilling location, via a lockable adjusting device (40). An advance pressure spring (50) is located between carrier and adjuster. An advance pressure spring is located between carrier and adjuster.
