[origin: EP0747215A2] The printing machine has a number of successive operating stations (1- 5), each provided with a respective processor, with a communication bus (6) linking the individual stations, for synchronising their operation. The communication bus uses an information oriented protocol, with each station permanently supplied with an angular position signal for a rotating component of the printing machine, used for initiating respective switching procedures in each station.
