[origin: DE19521100C1] A process for drawing out from a weaving shed a single or multiple twisted weft thread with a defect causing a weaving stoppage entails use of suction applied in a way dependent on the characteristics specific to the thread. Also claimed is appts. for producing the suction (5), i.e. an injector jet with at least two inlets (9, 10). At least one of the characteristics chosen is twist direction while suction spin and strength are chosen as needed to suit the thread characteristics, e.g. the spin to reinforce the thread twist.

Bei der Behebung eines Schußfadenbruches spielt unter anderem die Beschaffenheit, und hier insbesondere die Aufrechterhaltung der Drallung eines Schußfadens 2b, dessen vorderer Abschnitt von einer pneumatischen Abziehvorrichtung 5 erfaßt wird, eine wichtige Rolle für das sichere Abziehen des Schußfadens. Die Drallung des Schußfadens wird erfindungsgemäß dadurch aufrechterhalten, daß in einer Abziehvorrichtung eine saugende und zugleich rotierende Strömung in Richtung der Drallung des Schußfadens erzeugt wird. <IMAGE>
