Abstract (en)
[origin: WO9621077A1] The invention relates to an up-and-over door (1) with a door panel (3) which can be pushed along substantially horizontal guide rails (5) inside a building between an open and a closed position, in which the up-and-over door (3) is articulated beneath the guide rails (5) via deflectors (9) acting as a double-sided lever in a channel (6), said deflectors (9) being secured on the channel (6) to rotate about a spindle (12), with a first end (14) arranged on the door panel (3) so as to rotate and a second end (15) supported against the building via springs (16) to compensate the weight. An up-and-over door (1) which, even with large dimensions and correspondingly strong springs (16) can be easily and securely fitted, is provided in that in the region of the spindle (12) of the deflector (9) there is a device (17) for pretensioning the springs (16) which is secured to the springs (16) during the fitting of the door (1) and can be secured to the second end (15) of the deflector (9), preferably in the open position of the door (1).
