Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0748601A1] The box has two or more sliding drawer sections (2) adjacent each other or one above the other. These are enclosed in a close-fitting metal frame comprising a top, bottom and sides formed by profiled plates (3-5) at right-angles to each other and joined together at their edges. There are two horizontal and two vertical ribs (11,12) which form a rectangle at the front. The plates are of angular C-section, with a longitudinal groove (3a-5a) at the front for engagement with a rib, and also locking into engagement with the drawer sections (2). The rear longitudinal edges of two or more plates are bent through at right angle, so as to engage behind the rear wall of the box. The plates can be riveted to each other.
