The component (3) is mounted on the fixed or leaf frame (1,2) of a door or window, and works via a contact face between the frames on relative movement between the latter against a mating component (5) on the other frame. One or the other of the components is on a plug portion (6) inserted in a connection area (8) of a universal holder (7) on one of the frames. The holder can have different connection areas to suit different components, and the plug portion and holder can be secured together by clips or screws. The component (3) can form a vertical guide with horizontal ramp face (4) between the frames for a mating boss (5), the plug portion being inserted vertically from the top. The connection areas are in pairs and symmetrical in the horizontal direction.

Funktionselement (3), welches an dem Blendrahmen (1) oder Flügelrahmen (2) eines Fensters/einer Tür angeordnet ist und bei Relativbewegung zwischen Blendrahmen und Flügelrahmen über eine zwischen Blendrahmen und Flügelrahmen angeordnete Kontaktfläche mit einem am Flügelrahmen (2) oder Blendrahmen (1) angeordneten Gegenfunktionselement (5) korrespondiert. Um die Paarung aus einander zugeordneten Funktionselementen (3) so weiterzubilden, daß bei vereinfachter Ausbildung die Gefahr von fehlerhafter Montage verringert wird, wird sie so ausgebildet, daß das Funktionselement (3) oder das Gegenfunktionselement (5) an einem Einsteckteil (6) angebracht ist, welches in den Verbindungsbereich (8) einer blend- bzw. flügelrahmenseitig anbringbaren Universalhalterung (7) einsteckbar ist. <IMAGE>
