Abstract (en)
The connector is for the metal outer skin of a heat-insulted profiled frame member of a window, door or facade. The skin has a C-section groove with edge strips to accommodate a seal, also a stop rib positioning the connector, which has a hook inserted in the groove and engaging behind one of the edge strips. A through-drilling (20) in the connector (11) at right angles to this length-wise axis (21a) accommodates a locking pin (18). This engages in the seal groove (13) and bears against the edge strip (15) on the side furthest from the hook (16). A driving head (19) can be provided on the pin, whose maximum shank length is equal to the distance between the drilling mouth (22) and the groove bottom. Protrusions at intervals on the pin outside surface can bear positively against the drilling inside surface.

Die Außenschale (3) ist mit einer C-förmigen, mit Randleisten ausgerüsteten Nut (13) zur Festlegung des T-Verbinders versehen, wobei die Nut (13) Teil eines Anschlagsteges (12) ist. Der T-Verbinder weist einen in die Nut (13) einführbaren, eine Randleiste hintergreifenden Haken (16) auf. Ein Sicherungsstift (18) ist in eine quer zur Längsachse (21a) sich durch den Verbindungskörper erstreckende Bohrung (20) einführbar. Der Sicherungsstift (18) stützt sich an einer an der dem Haken (16) abgewandten Seite vorgesehenen Randleiste (15) ab. Die Schaftlänge des Sicherungsstiftes (18) entspricht maximal der Länge zwischen der Einführungsöffnung der Bohrung (20) in dem Nutgrund. <IMAGE>
