[origin: EP0748925A1] Method for lining a shaft (1) using a preformed tube (2) which can be inflated to deform it radially from a folded state in which its largest transverse dimension is less than the diameter of the shaft, to a state in which the preformed tube is cylindrical. The preformed tube can be blocked off at its two ends (3, 4) and can be hardened in the shaft to form the lining. The method includes the following stages:- means of disconnecting the blockers is introduced into the preformed tube and these are then removed to the surface in a receptacle with a smaller transverse dimension than the internal diameter of the hardened lining. Device for lining a shaft using the above method. The device contains means of disconnecting the blockers and a receptacle to place them in after hardening.
