Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0749131A1] Wires (1) of circular or esp. non-circular cross-section are twisted together without back-twisting to form a cable with alternating twist. The twisting head (3) guides each wire in an arc shape over guide rollers (5). The roller profile is adapted to suit the cross-section of the wire (1).
