Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0749133A2] The material for a regulating coil in a glow plug is provided by an alloy of Co and Fe which has a cubic surface-centred structure under all operating conditions. The alloy has between 72 and 94 % by weight of cobalt, between 1 and 23 % by weight of nickel, with the remainder provided by iron, with a min. Fe content of 5 % by weight and a max. Fe content of 24 % by weight, for ensuring the cubic surface-centred structure at room temp.
