[origin: EP0751244A2] The method for controlling yarn tension after the friction twisting head (6) on a false twist texturing machine comprises using: (i) a controller (12) with control constants (I,P) which converts the deviation of the measured yarn tension (T) from a required value arising from a disturbance of magnitude (Z) into a correction signal (VS) to adjust the setting (S) of the twisting head (6); where: (a) during the control process the control constants (I,P) are corrected according to the magnitude (Z) of the disturbing factors.
