[origin: EP0751586A2] The sleeve has a receptacle chamber (11) made up of a base plate (8) and two opposing, upright side walls (9). The flat plug (3) can be inserted into this chamber from one end. The free edges (10) of the side walls are bent inwardly over the base plate (8). The two long edges of the free edges (10) of the side walls (9) are rounded on at least one side to maintain a linear contact on the upper side of the plug (3). The rounded long edges (15) contact the plug (3) near the axial middle line (16) of the sleeve (2). Two parallel projections (14) of the base plate (8) form regions on the base plate (8) for forming a linear contact with the plug (3). A locking device (13) cooperates with a recess in the plug (3) via a locking nose. The locking nose is arranged on a locking clamp (13) formed by two parallel sections and bent into the receptacle part (11). The base plate (8) in the region of the locking clamp (13) is formed with a reduced material strength to increase the elasticity of the locking clamp (13).
