Abstract (en)
The food packaging box comprises a bottom (F) having a lateral peripheral wall (10) which is widened along an edge (2) external to the wall surface. The edge has a groove (3) forming a protuberance in the edge plane. A cover (C) comprising a bowl clips onto the groove in the bottom to enclose the contents. A transverse incision (4) in the groove passes through all the width of the groove which is extended under the cover in peripherally folded bulges. These ensure hermetic sealing and evidence of non tampering. There is an interruption (5) in the edge upper bulge and parallel vertical ribs (5) acting as rigidifying beams. Vertical sealing is effected by the external lateral surface of the cover and the internal lateral surface of the bottom upper portion. These two surfaces are in friction contact along the largest part of their height. Placing the cover on the box simultaneously engages the vertical sealing and the horizontal security.
