[origin: DE4410697A1] This invention concerns a switch assembly which can be mounted in a recess with a diaphragm which can be staggered with respect to the recess within specified tolerances. The switch assembly proposed is intended to be able to compensate for the stagger between the diaphragm and recess by means of the float-mounted cover. The friction of the actuator cover, which actuates the switch by an actuator, with respect to the guiding surfaces of the associated diaphragm aperture, is kept as low as possible.
