Abstract (en)
The trousers consists of two legs (1) connected by an upper section (2) with a waistband (3) and braces (4). They also have a belt (5) with open ends, which is fixed rigidly to the sides (14,15) and back (16) of the waistband. The two ends (7a,7b) of the belt are free and can be moved relative to the front section (17) of the waistband, being joined together approx. at its centre. Each end of the belt also has a clasp for connecting it to a safety line (9), e.g. equipped with snap buckles (10). The two ends of the belt are fastened to the front of the trouser waistband by opening flaps (6a,6b) with self-gripping surfaces. The trousers are made, e.g. from a waterproof material, such as a polyamide fabric coated with polyurethane or PVC, and the seams attaching the belt to the sides and back of the waistband are strong enough to withstand shocks.

Le pantalon montant de manoeuvre et de sécurité est du type comportant deux jambes (1) reliés entre elles par une partie formant culotte et entrejambe (2) et une partie formant tour de poitrine (3), ladite partie formant tour de poitrine (3) étant munie de bretelles (4). Il comprend une sangle (5) non fermée faisant le tour de ladite partie formant tour de poitrine (3), ladite sangle (5) étant fixée de façon rigide au niveau des côtés et de la face arrière de ladite partie formant tour de poitrine (3) et étant susceptible de mouvement par ses extrémités au niveau de la face avant de ladite partie formant tour de poitrine (3), les extrémités (7a, 7b) de ladite sangle (5) se rejoignant approximativement au milieu de ladite face avant de ladite partie formant tour de poitrine (3), chaque extrémité (7a, 7b) comportant un moyen de fixation d'une ligne d'amarrage (9). <IMAGE>
