Drive belts (200) for moving flats on a card have connecting elements (208, 210) which are arranged in pairs and made in one piece with a flexible band (202). The flat is held in a connector pair (204, 206) with a snap fitting. The elements (208, 210) of each connector pair have a sloping surface (214, 216) inclined in opposite directions. When the band (202) is laid flat the angle ( alpha ) between each inclined surface (214, 216) and the band (202) is 60 - 80 degrees . Also claimed are connecting elements (208, 210) arranged in pairs which tend to move apart or together as the belt (200) is bent during its travel round the path taken by the card flats.

EP-A-627505 beschreibt ein Verbindungssystem zwischen einem umlaufenden Deckelstab einer Wanderdeckelkarde und einem flexiblen Antriebsriemen. Das System beruht auf Schnappverbindungen. Nach dieser Erfindung umfasst jede Schnappverbindung zwei Leisten (230), die je eine Schrägfläche (214, 216) am Riemen berühren, wobei jede Schrägfläche mit der ihr anschliessenden Fläche (220) jeden Bandes (202) einen Winkel (α) im Bereich 60 bis 80 Grad einschliesst. <IMAGE>
