Abstract (en)
The security lock consists of a sliding bolt (10) actuated by a rack (9) and a pinion (8b) which is turned by a rotary control rod (6) and key (7). The rack comprises a mobile component which is connected to the bolt, and both are able to tilt transversely under an effort greater than the normal actuating effort to ensure an automatic disengagement of the bolt and control rod. The mobile rack (9) is held in position by two supports which are able to move elastically to allow the rack to tilt and disengage from the pinion. The rack is connected to the bolt by a semi-cylindrical projection which fits into a socket (10a) in the bolt to form a pivot, and the control rod is connected to the pinion by an endless screw (6b).

L'actionnement du pène coulissant (10) est opéré à l'aide d'un mécanisme du type à vis sans fin (6b) qui agit sur deux pignons latéraux (8b) solidaires de la roue creuse dudit mécanisme. Ces pignons actionnent une crémaillère double (9a) liée au pène tout en étant apte à se dégager automatiqurement desdits pignons en cas de couple résistant trop élevé, notamment en fin de course dudit pène à la fermeture. <IMAGE>
