Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0753871A1] The operating mechanism for the circuit breaker includes a control box (2) and a rotating drive mechanism (15) moving the contacts of the device. A control circuit includes end-of-course contacts (5C,6C) associated with the contacts of the circuit breaker. A portable electric motor (20) with an independent supply (23) is equipped to make a mechanical connection (22) with the circuit breaker drive mechanism (15). This is then linked to the control circuit. Pushbuttons are provided to ensure rotation of the contact drive mechanism in one direction or the other.
