Abstract (en)

[origin: WO9526906A1] A valve for filling packages with liquids has a housing (1) with inlet stubs (24), a frontal nozzle and an outlet device (16) having a plurality of outlet holes (4). A plug (3) is fitted movably in the housing (1) and can be engaged with a valve seat (23). There are also rear sealing devices (5, 7, 22). In order nevertheless to obtain a great volume flow of the liquid to be filled at a low discharge rate without any relative movement between the package and the outlet device (16), according to the invention the outlet holes (4) are made over the whole of the cross-sectional area of the nozzle (2) in an outlet plate (16), passing through it towards the longitudinal axis (28) of the nozzle (2), said plate (16) being in one piece with the nozzle (2), the diameter or width of the outlet holes (4) is larger than 1 mm and smaller than 5 mm and the length of the outlet holes (4) is greater than double their diameter or width.
