Abstract (en)
[origin: US5798038A] A device for removing deposited material from a liquid in flume includes a conveyor for the deposited material that is disposed at an ague with respect to the plume and leads to a discarding point. The device includes a housing which houses a shaft and a conveyor screw mounted to the shaft. The shaft includes a hollow portion therein for housing a heater. The heater heats the conveyor for preventing material from freezing in the conveyor.
