[origin: EP0754812A1] The facade has glazing (2) and sill elements (3) designed as thermally separated individual elements attached individually or jointly on the support structure. A thermal separation of the vertical post sections (1) is provided vertically at each transition between sill and glazing element. A thermal insulation is provided along the entire perimeter of the sill element towards the inner cover. Each two vertically adjoining posts can be connected together by static inserts (9) extending over the separating area. Each upright post or bolt can be formed by two parallel spaced hollow profiled sections which have opposing grooves to hold a sealing strip protruding into the sections.
