Abstract (en)
The module contains two input and two output contacts (6;7), two earth contacts (5), and two bipolar lightning conductors (8) which can be short-circuited by a conductive element (10) connected to the signal lamp (15). The lamp is earthed for fault-signalling purposes by either of two single-strand conductors (20) each having an insulating sheath (21) over most of its length. The conductive element is folded into two parts with bare ends connected to the lamp.

Le module de protection à signalisation de défaut comporte au moins un parafoudre, un moyen de court circuit associé au parafoudre et une lampe de signalisation alimentée à partir d'une source extérieure au module si la ligne protégée est mise à la masse. Il est caractérisé en ce que le moyen de court-circuit et le moyen de contrôle d'alimentation de la lampe sont constitués en commun par un élément (10) qui est conducteur et revêtu d'une isolation fusible avec la chaleur dégagée par chaque parafoudre. Application : tête de câble téléphonique à protection. <IMAGE>
