Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0755166A2] Appts.. with active noise compensation for protection of human hearing against constant noise includes a membrane(50) separating two volumes of air, (V2) in front of and(V1) behind the membrane. The membrane(50) and the rear volume(V1) have a degree of compliance, the compliance of the membrane(Nm) being less than that(N1) of the rear volume(V1). The use of a transducer for the claimed appts. is also claimed with the compliance characteristics described. Also claimed is an electroacoustic transducer appts. including a transducer membrane(50) separating front(V2) and rear(V1) air volumes as already described.
