[origin: EP0755667A1] The massage device (1) has a number of massage rollers (2), positioned with their axes parallel to one another between a pair of side discs (3), supporting the rollers for free rotation. An electric drive motor (12) is coupled to one of the side discs via a belt drive (4). Pref. a protective foil (11) extends across the rollers, each of the latter pref. having a number of narrow and wide dia. sections in alternation along its length, with the wide dia. sections of one roller coinciding with the narrow dia. sections of the adjacent rollers.
