Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0755704A1] The plastics bell body (1) has apertures (12) between the top and bottom parts of the bell spread evenly round the circumference to reduce the noise when the skittle is drawn up into the bell. The recesses can be formed on the section of the bell body having a larger diameter. The recesses extend in the axial direction of the bell. Reinforcement ribs are provided on the inner and/or outer circumference of the bell to reinforce the bell around the sections between the recesses.
