[origin: EP0755754A1] The screw tool has between the drive pinion (3) and spindle a ball coupling element (6) which interacts with stop faces of the drive pinion and spindle (5). The stop faces of the pinion are formed by an indentation (7) on an inner face of same running parallel to the longitudinal extension of the spindle. The stop faces of the spindle are formed by a groove (8) on the outer face of same whereby the extension of the groove exceeds the extension of the ball. A ring (10) can be set on the spindle between ball and spring.
