Abstract (en)
The printing machine has transfer units (3,4), in the form of at least one pair of transfer rollers, for transferring the substrates onto the conveyors (8). The transfer units are positioned so that the conveyor from the feeder stack (2) to the conveyors is in a straight line and lies on the same plane as the track conveying the substrates onto the printer units (14). The printing machine has a delivery unit (5) with at least one pair of transfer rollers (7) and/or a brake. The conveyors comprise a first conveyor (8) conveying the substrates from the feeder through a row of first form printer units (14), and a second conveyor (17) behind the first conveyor and carrying the substrates through a row of inside form printers to the delivery unit (6).

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Druckmaschine mit mehreren in einer Reihe hintereinander angeordneten Druckwerken (14, 16), Transportmitteln (8, 17) zum geradlinigen Transport von zu bedruckenden Bogen oder Substraten durch die Druckwerke und einem Anleger (1), auf dem die Substrate gestapelt sind und der Mittel (3, 4) zur Übergabe der Substrate an die Transportmittel aufweist. Werden die Mittel (3, 4) zur Übergabe der Substrate an die Transportmittel (8) so angeordnet, daß der Transportweg der Substrate vom Anlegerstapel (2) zu den Transportmitteln geradlinig ist und mit dem Transportweg der Substrate in die Druckwerke (14) in einer Ebene liegt, so lassen sich nicht nur biegsame Substrate wie Papier bedrucken, sondern auch Materialien wie Karton, Kunststoff, Blech, Glas usw., die wegen ihrer Dicke oder ihrer Materialeigenschaften nicht verformt werden können oder dürfen. Ferner werden mit der Erfindung passende Wendeeinrichtungen (18) für eine derartige geradlinige Substratführung geschaffen. <IMAGE>
